Brian Baker

Executive PM

With over 35 years of construction experience, 22 serving in an executive management or ownership role, Brian Baker is a highly qualified and well-respected professional in the Capital Region. Brian began in the industry by working as a masons’ tender, a laborer, and a carpenter. He became a foreman in the field and for 10 years, successfully ran his own high-end residential remodeling firm. Brian has also served as a site supervisor and Vice President of Operations for 15 years for another local construction firm. Brian’s experience in estimating and project management is nearly unsurpassed in the local market. He has effectively estimated and managed projects across multiple industries, including healthcare. At AOW, Brian currently serves dual role as both Project Executive and Senior Estimator.

Peter Oliver

Senior Project Manager

Peter Oliver brings 20 years of experience in the construction industry with extensive experience in highly technical Healthcare projects. Peter’s construction experience began in the field and as a result, is well versed in construction sequencing. Peter is experienced in estimating, cost analysis, scheduling, and safety. He has a proven track record of completing projects on time often utilizing a multi-phased approach. He has demonstrated success in making decisions affecting costs, labor planning, procurement, personnel management and site supervision. Peter is a relationship builder and strives to ultimately deliver a project to each client that exceeds their expectations.

John Davi

Project Manager

John Davi has 17 years of experience working in the design and construction industry with a focus on residential, K-12, and healthcare facilities.  As a Senior Project Manager with a diverse background in both design and construction, John conveys clear interpretation and execution of the contract documents and specifications. His strengths include scheduling, estimating, labor planning, purchasing, project execution and closeout. John is also well versed in risk assessment and management of healthcare construction projects. John is a truly skilled manager and is often assigned the management role on our most complex, heavily phased projects that have strict budgetary and scheduling requirements.

Ben Boswell

Project Manager

Ben Boswell has 9 years of experience in the construction industry with a focus on healthcare construction and his experience began with an internship with AOW while still attending college. Ben has run multiple healthcare projects to include a number of radiology renovation projects. Additionally, Ben has managed several projects on the SUNY Albany Campus and has assisted Senior Project Managers on a number of large-scale projects. Ben has developed solid estimating and scheduling skills and he is a true asset to AOW’s bidding process. Ben is LEED AP BD+C certified and has served as LEED Associate on several AOW LEED Projects as well as handling his own assigned workload.

Amanda Fischer

Project Manager

Amanda Fischer has 6 years of construction industry experience with 2 years of experience in the industry specializing in HVAC and Refrigeration System Design. As an architect, Amanda is highly proficient at interpreting construction plans, drawing set design, compilation, and presentation. Her work with AOW has primarily focused on healthcare although she has experience managing projects in both public housing and adult living facilities. She is experienced with tightly scheduled jobs having multiple subcontractors that require heavy coordination with Owners in order to both meet deadlines and keep their facilities operational. Amanda is also one of 49 individuals in New York Certified Healthcare Constructor.

Mario Tedesco

Assistant Project Manager

Mario has 11 Years of construction experience serving in a variety of roles to include Project Superintendent of large-scale work in the New York City area and District Manager for a large residential rental firm. His experience with field coordination and management, strict scheduling deadlines, and quality control made Mario an ideal fit with AOW. He possesses strong interpersonal and organizational skills. Through his supervisory experience, Mario understands how important customer service and open communication is to client retention. Mario is also well versed in the preparation and pricing of change orders and facilitating Owner Meetings.

Mark Caulfield

Project Engineer

Mark Caulfield was hired as an intern for AOW in the winter of 2018. It quickly became apparent that Mark’s education, his ability and desire to learn, his dedication, and his excellent communication skills would be an ideal permanent fit for AOW. Mark has become proficient in quantity take-off and our bidding process and has effectively managed small projects for AOW. Mark’s focus professionally is to become well versed in estimating while managing larger projects for AOW. His internship as a NYS DOT Construction Inspector over 2 consecutive summers and earning his OSHA 30 has made Mark keenly aware of field safety requirements. Mark is also extremely company minded, client focused, and professional.
