AOW understands the importance of identifying risks and potential hazards in the early stages of preconstruction. We proactively review the constructability of a projects design and intent, including the timeframe that a project will be constructed. We apply our expertise to avoid unnecessary risks and hazards associated with the work, the environment, and the project site.
AOW implements a site specific safety plan during the construction process for all contractors including any project specific requirements. This plan is used in addition to the subcontractor’s own safety programs which will be utilized for the entire project. The safety policies are used to prevent incidental injuries occupational illnesses, and property damage.
AOW’s Safety Manager oversees safety and risk management with regard to all projects. Safety meetings, weekly tool box talks, on-site training, site inspections by executive management, and recognition for safe practices are all important parts of our program to ensure safety.
